So one of our favorite Masterpiece Theater productions is Bertie & Elizabeth, the story of Britain's King George VI, who assumed the throne after his brother Edward VIII abdicated his throne to marry a divorced American floozy. We watched it again last night, and again like the first time we watched it, I decided I wanted to watch the entire British monarchy from beginning to end on film (I'm a sucker for movie marathons). Well, since we started at the end, it made more sense to move backwards through history instead, so here's my checklist of what I'll be forcing zeWife to watch for the next few months:

After this marathon, there's a good chance we'll need to watch a marathon of dogsledding movies to cleanse our palette. You know, a little Chilly Dogs, some 8 Below, something with Cuba Gooding, Jr. in it...good stuff.
