Aldomania!

Marvel's long-delayed
Civil War #4 comes out today, and what do I care? I don't read comics anymore. But see, the mighty THOR made a last page surprise appearance in issue #3 a few months ago, so my curiosity is piqued. But I don't read comics anymore. Really I don't.
Except for
Mary Worth, which is free, and kicks almost as much ass as Thor.
If you read
The Comics Curmudgeon, you know all about Aldo Kelrast, Mary's unwanted paramour/stalker. Like my mom, who buys a newspaper to skip straight to the horoscopes, lately I've been opening up my paper and jumping straight to
Mary Worth to see where this story is going.
Here's a recap from a few weeks back. It's crazy, but hilarious.
See, he looks like Captain Kangaroo, and his whole deal is trying to woo poor Mary by saying stuff like "Your words say no, but your eyes say YES!" and "I refuse to believe that you prefer to be alone!". Great stuff. He even has a
Myspace page.
Lately, Mary's friends held an intervention with Aldo and told him to stop his advances, which has pushed the poor Captain into a drunken stupor.

I'm telling you, what could be cooler?

Oh, right.
That.
