zeMemories
Our pals zeCat and zeGameboy are back in town from Florida, and I came out of the deal with a sweet Green Lantern button that I guess came from zeGameboy's youth. It reminded me of my parent's recent trip to my hometown in New Mexico about a month back when they brought back a pile of toys my brother and I used to obsess over.

Some favorites:

Book It! buttons. At least one of these buttons was earned after doing a book report to my class on the novelization of the movie Back to the Future, an oral presentation that took over an hour. But hey, personal pan pizza. Great stuff.

This is from a Cap'n Crunch / Willow tie-in, a disappearing coin trick. If you remember from the movie, Willow Ufgood dazzles his fellow Nelwyns by making a live pig disappear, and in the climax of the movie, a Daikini baby. Making a nickel disappear and reappear somehow isn't as cool.

I probably wore these ears five days a week when I was a kid. I'm not sure if I pretended to be a vampire or Mr. Spock more, but since I didn't really start watching Star Trek until college, it was probably the former.

These are my favorite. If you remember your ALF mythology, the Melmac version of America's favorite pastime was Bouillabaseball, and it involved fish.

I didn't get the joke until probably a week ago.
