Weekend stuff.
So we spent the weekend mostly being excited, nervous, giddy, terrified, panicked, and ecstatic about zeWife's new job. It was too much emotion. She spent Friday night mostly sick.
Me, I'm too much of a Pollyanna to admit that this could be anything other than good. I have a tendency to turn into that old lady in the movies who reminds us that anything is possible if only you dream hard enough. It's an annoying quality of mine, but there you go. I'm a sap.
Finished another Bollywood movie,
Taal, which had expensive sets and elaborate choreography, but was incredibly dull. It was worth watching though, if only to learn exactly how NOT to woo a love interest (courtesy of romantic lead, Akshaye Khanna):
- videotape her while she and her sisters bathe in a nearby pond
- clumsily fall down a cliff
- as SHE attempts to rescue YOU, pull her down into the cliff as she pulls you up
- turn the video camera back on to record the expression of terror on her face
- introduce her to your fluffy little dog named Brownie
- while at a party, steal her Coke bottle and drink it

What a Romeo.
Also, our Blanks on a Blank entry is "Squirrels on a Sled". I know of at least four competitors already:
- Unicorns on a Unicycle
- Unicorns on a Submarine
- Emus on a Skateboard
- Roosters on a Stagecoach
All in all, I think we got a good one. Now if you have any ideas on how to make it snow in Houston, let me know...
