I had a freaky dream last night. Abe Vigoda* was losing a kidney (it was detaching itself from his body) and he'd become a weird animal person. He invited me and ZeHusband to see his place and we saw a
purple gorilla and a pterodactyl that liked to sleep on a carport overlooking a lagoon.
It was so weird. There was a big dinner at which we were served nothing but live shellfish. "Abe" was green and kept hinting that he'd like one of us to give him a kidney. I saw him hug ZeHusband and got freaked out so I insisted that we leave.
I attempted to analyze the dream using my handy-dandy pocket dream analysis book only to find that there were no purple gorillas listed, nor was there any of the other elements of the dream. But...
...I have since decided that dreaming of purple gorillas is an omen of good fortune, as I received a much-deserved raise this week.
